Scavenger Hunt
- Scavenger Hunt Rules – This should be completed before class on September 12, 2016 – Team Assignments
Assignment
- Before class on September 12 complete the first two sessions of Power Searching with Google course. Create a Google doc and share it with tswallace@ualr.edu. In this document, I’d like you to take notes from the Power Searching with Google course. Once we have completed the course you will use these notes to craft a blog post containing lessons learned from the workshop. Do not email me this document!. Use the built in sharing functionality of Google Docs. If you do not know how to do this you can look here for help.
- Write a blog post reflecting on the experience you had during the scavenger hunt this week. Discuss how your team decided to tackle the hunt, whether or not you felt like you worked as a team, and what you would do differently.
- Be prepared to to present to the class on September 12. Make sure you follow the requirements listed here. It will take two sessions to get through the entire class but everyone should be prepared to present the first day. I will randomly generate a list for presentation order. If you are not prepared at your selected time you will have to visit the Communication SCIL Center and record your presentation. These will be distributed to the class. It is in your best interest to be prepared and present in your allotted time.
